Algieri is not beating Ortiz from 2012, people forget he was pretty strong man.

I believe that version of Ortiz would have walked right through Algieri.

              Right now he destroys Ortiz,

              He beats Ghost

Maidana is a toss up, he took on Ruslan, so he can deal with pressure fighters and with JDJ in his corner, he's going to be that much harder to beat

Algieri is going to be a problem for a lot of guys, i wudnt be supersized if boxers avoid him, he's going to be hard to look good against.

Although i know Thurman wud beat the **** out of him

I think he could beat Ortiz, but even then I'm not sure. I don't think Algieri is that good. And I've never really been in favor of Floyd fighting Khan, because I really don't think Khan deserves the fight. He has not faced a puncher at 147 yet and I'm not convinced he could go the distance with one. I realize Khan is the best option for September from a business perspective, but I do not think he has much of a chance. Khan is not as smart in the ring as some believe. He makes a lot of mistakes and Algieri was able to take advantage of some of those. I had that fight 115-113 Khan, and I think a superior boxer like Floyd could easily take a few more rounds and swing the fight in his favor.

Algieri is still ESPN level.....khan is just so **** against pressure fighters and making adjustments that even a ESPN level fighter like algieri can change his style and make khan look like an amateur.
