Honestly, none of those are on the level of a Kessler punch.

Could he take the uppercut that hurt Calzaghe? I'm not sure.
True but he could still hit then, and he hit Degale quite a lot.

Dunno, just seems like he has a solid chin. I don't see Kessler stopping him with one punch nor do I see him taking him out with accumulation.

According to LacedUp and Battling Nelson, Kessler is the best one punch KO artist in SMW history.....

To be honest skill wise I would probably say Degale is better than Calzaghe.

That will be unpopular but yeah.

Not that I think Degale is particularly skilled.

For what it's worth I'd pick Degale to beats prime Kessler by decision.

But he didn't have his style then, fighting on the backfoot not sitting on his punches - at least vs Degale.

I think Degale has a solid chin too. Just don't think he'd last 12 rounds with a prime kessler at all.

Kessler is retired. Sheer namedropping from DeGale.

DeGale would play with him. His win over Dirrell is better than any win Kessler had in his entire career
Beating that version of Dirrell not better than beating a prime Froch surely?

I honestly don't see many others out there at SMW who had the kind of power he had in his prime. Nigel Benn would be one, Roy Jones jr too even though he only had a brief spell at SMW.

He definitely would need it! You'll see on the night if it happens.

                  lol better than any win?

Better than an undefeated Carl Froch? GTFO

Had Froch winning that fight. And I had Dirrell beating Froch in the fight prior.

Straight punches? DeGale has a varied arsenal which is Kessler's nightmare.

Kessler looked great against guys like Andrade who was basically a punching bag who stood there.

It's no coincidence that when he came up against guys who used speed, movement and angles, that he looked completely lost and basically mentally quit.
