I think Kessler would stop him. Degale doesn't have a great defense and Kessler's one-two was deadly.
Groves can punch and he never hurt him, Dirrell isn't a concussive puncher but he's explosive and fast and he never hurt him either.

That European guy hurt him but he toughed it out. That fight showed his toughness and heart IMO.

Groves would be the best puncher out of those imo - but Groves then isn't the Groves that fought Froch I'm sure everybody would agree.

Honestly, none of those are on the level of a Kessler punch.

Could he take the uppercut that hurt Calzaghe? I'm not sure.

How the hell was he weight drained? They specifically fought above supermiddleweight to accomodate him and he fought at 168 before that fight?

You're talking about when he fought Andre Ward and Calzaghe? Literally two of the three best ever supermiddleweights?

Degale is not fit to lace their boots, nevermind be compared to them.

He fought his next two fights at Cruiserweight. It's well documented he was dead at the weight and shot anyway. Allen Greene was never even that good anyway and he had Kessler on his arse himself didn't he?

DeGale's style is much closer to someone like Calzaghe and he embarrassed Kessler. As did Ward. Kessler looks good against straight ahead fighters like himself.

Style-wise, they are more comparable than the other 40 odd stiffs that Kessler fought.

No that's not well documented at all Green came in under the limit anyway and his last fight was at light heavyweight. But yeah he wasn't that good I agree.

His style is nowhere near Calzaghe's other than they are both southpaws.

Can Degale throw a straight punch? I haven't seen it yet. He's going to need a jab if he fights Kessler.

A straight punch? He wouldn't need to. Kessler's head is so damn stationary, he would get hit from all angles the way he did against Calzaghe.

DeGale would play with him. His win over Dirrell is better than any win Kessler had in his entire career
