I think he shouldve done a tournament of the different weight classes with that huge stable he has. one night welters, one night super light weights etc..
Getting 2 fighters camps to agree to. Fight is hell, let alone tournaments.

Like it or not that fight was entertaining and people tuned in to watch
A lot of u were crying about Khans performance, but he gave the casual fans what they wanted to see, 'entertainment'
Hopefully he gets the Floyd fight

Error on my part.
THe 773k was for the entire telecast. The Main even AVG'd much higher at a million
Live airing of #KhanAlgieri bout had average audience of 1M viewers on @spike. Peaked at 1.12M. They all saw a helluva fight! #boxing

1-1.2 Million sounds more accurate. That is a strong rating. As long as they can keep that Spike TV Rating at 1 Million or close to 1 Million that is a WIN for PBC and Boxing In General
Khan is a name in the sport lets not deny him that, he is not a big as he think he is but he is popular than MOST so I expected solid numbers for this fight especially with Buzz that he might fight Mayweather next.
Fans need to stop worrying how PBC is making MONEY, nobody even factor in International Money, PBC is not paying everybody for TV Time, some are actually paying for the rights to show PBC. And most importantly, they not asking us for a DIME!Last edited by sicko; 06-01-2015, 04:50 PM.

Guess again. On CBS, a rerun of Blue Bloods from 10-11 PM pulled in over 6 million viewers. Those are the numbers that boxing has to beat to be considered a 'cash cow'. Forget about comparing PBC to past boxing programs, it has to compete against regular programming to get the advertiser dollars and numbers like that are not going to bring in the money required to keep this on TV once the investor money dries up.

1.2 Million people watching this event on a friday night, on spike. There was hardly any promoting or advertisement for this fight. Algeri was also considered a "weak" opponent for Khan. Those are very impressive numbers for Mr Haymon. Another reflection once again of Khan's star status.
