  • Comments Thread For: Kell Brook: Brandon Rios is Perfect Candidate For Me

Kell Brook has identified Brandon Rios as the "perfect candidate" for his next fight.

Brook made the second successful defence of his IBF world welterweight title on Saturday night with a sixth-round stoppage of Frankie Gavin as he took his unblemished record to 35-0.

The 29-year-old now wants “all-action” bouts against the best fighters in the welterweight division and is keen to make Rios, the American who lost to Manny Pacquiao in 2013, his next victim.

Another set-up fight to showcase his boxing ability. Rios is a name but not a challenge. I guess next will be Brook / Algieri?

there's a difference between 1 showcase fight when youre being avoided and having three 3 straight gimme fights.

Isn't not great but it's also not his third crap fight in a row when he's a world champion

Keith Thurman has the same number of good wins as Brook.

You all want Brook to fight Thurman next right, so why did he book a fight with Collazo in July?
