I don't get some of these comments. Props for both fighters. They BOTH put a good performance. Algieri has definitely improved a lot and I think he deserves more big name fights. Maybe Maidana or Alexander in the future.

Khan stayed in the fight and while I still question his power at this weight, his handspeed is still impressive. He did get hit too many times so he's got to work on that but I don't mind seeing him fight Floyd.

Mayweather vs. Thurman is still my main support, though.

Lucky, lucky Khan. Algieri just walked through everything Khan threw. Just shows, anyone with average power who can time an overhand right will KO Khan. Floyd must be licking his lips... an almost guaranteed KO to end his career.

Khan said the problem in the interview.
He didn't prepare for Algieri to come straight forward. He was thinking Algieri was going to be on his backheels.

That's poor preparation by him and Hunter IMO.
They should know that with Khan's reputation for being chinny most fighters are always going to want to come forward with him.

No, Mayweather should not be next. Tonight should kill that dream for good. This dude couldn't mount a consistent offense on a stalking Chris Algieri and got shook up multiple times. Come on. I was glad to see Algieri do so well. He's a solid fighter, and I didn't think he could pressure like that. He's not an easy night for anyone except the top level.

I think it was anywhere from 8-4 Khan to 6-6. Anything more either way is too much.

8-4 Khan but such a disappointing performance. If he fights like that against Brook he will catch up on some sleep, got caught with way too many right hands and Brook arguably has the best right hand at 147. Algieri buzzed him a couple of times as well, not good.

This is why I've been saying Virgil hasn't done much as far as improving Khan. Best thing Khan did was move up in weight so he can absorb punches better but he still gets caught with the same punches that got him KTFO. Had that been a puncher at WW Khan was in against he wouldn't have lasted 6 rounds.

Props to Algieri but to be honest, after the Pacquaio fight the only direction Chris could go was up.

Khan didn't impress as expected.

Algieri and him are still in the same league.

He's no where near elite level. Doesn't deserve the attention his getting.

Pac drilled Algieri for 12 rounds. Khan had a competitive fight with the same guy Pac drilled. So nope. Khan stay were you are. Some are more deserving. Sorry, but that's just the hard truth.

Khan is light years from the top level. This guy is over hyped and should know his place in boxing now.

I'm no Danny supporter, but he would do the exact same thing he did the 1st time. Brook would bust Khan's ass, too.
