Algieri is just as good as Khan

Khan and Algieri are evenly matched. Khan never beats Brook- Or Thurman or garcia or Broner or paq and Floyd is smiling. Khan is quite average with no power. Khans fan base is America's enemies.

Didn't expect Algieri to land that many good shots

Everyone's making it seem like Algieri's changed. He hasn't. He's always been this talented. He's always had boxing, slipping and countering skills. He's always had great defense.

I said it before the Pacquiao fight and I'll say it now. Tim M'F'n Lane is the 100% reason Algieri got overwhelmed by Pacquiao. Well, that and a corrupt ref calling slips KDs, but even if you gave Algieri the three slips, it's still 3 knockdowns.

Algieri actually tried fighting this style against Ruslan in the early rounds and it cost him because Ruslan uses his face for defense. So he switched to full defense mode, and it worked for him against THAT opponent.

Had he fought this style against Pacquiao it would have been dangerous, but it's not like Khan is a slow puncher either. I don't think there was anything Algieri could have done to win the fight, but if Tim Lane were not in that corner, I honestly don't feel it would have been nearly as one-sided and uncompetitive.

As an Algieri fan I'm both happy for Chris coming back with an impressive performance, and disappointed that he seems destined to come up short no matter how he good he really is. I don't know what the solution is except maybe to change weight classes and work on power?

    My thoughts exactly.

And if anyone thinks Floyd has Algieris heart, ur sadly mistaken. Chris was willing to eat up shots and gett battered to get his shots off, thats not Floyds style
I think you just had a brain fart moment...

The fact is Khan has ALWAYS been mostly attributes. Without his speed, he's just a fighter with a glass jaw, average power, and low ring IQ.
