Roach: golovkin exposed, didn't get hit on purpose

I don't think he necessarily let Monroe hit him, but does anyone really think Golovkin couldn't have just taken a step or two back out of range of the punches if he had wanted?
Imo Monroe just didn't have the power to trouble him, so Golovkin was happy walking through them to land his own punches.
Tired of hearing Roach tbh, talk Cotto-Golovkin when your fighter has signed the contract otherwise it's just hot air like the build-up to Pacquiao fights.
Hanz, how have you not learned how to embed videos by now?Comment

Monroe didn't exactly light the ring on fire with punches. He landed 87 in the fight and only one in the final round. He had a big round in round 4 when GGG sat back and let him throw. But when Golovkin decided enough was enough in round 6, GGG landed 9 of 12 power punches for a 75% hit ratio while Monroe landed 1 of 3 he was able to throw.

be honest, he knows that golovkin retires him so he's just trying to stall for as long as possible while still masquerading as the middleweight champion. even if he beats canelo, which is doubtful, i predict that he will then try one last time to tempt mayweather into a rematch, and if floyd doesn't bite then he will vacate his title. he has no intention of ever facing the true #1 in his current divisionComment
