            I don't think GGG gets hit "on purpose" per se but his planted style does involve taking damage in order to give it (see Geale KO).

            That and Monroe isn't the "random bum" a lot of you depicted him as. It's not that surprising that he had his moments.

                        Yeap and especially when mayweather doesnt do anything for the fans in the ring, its all about him.

                        Especially these days, he only goes in there to win rounds and take the least amount of damage possible.

                            I don't think he necessarily let Monroe hit him, but does anyone really think Golovkin couldn't have just taken a step or two back out of range of the punches if he had wanted?

                            Imo Monroe just didn't have the power to trouble him, so Golovkin was happy walking through them to land his own punches.

                            Tired of hearing Roach tbh, talk Cotto-Golovkin when your fighter has signed the contract otherwise it's just hot air like the build-up to Pacquiao fights.

                            Hanz, how have you not learned how to embed videos by now?

                                        He didn't let Monroe hit him, he just wasn't too bothered if he did hit him.

                                        Watch Golovkin vs Stevens, and tell me how many times in that fight Golovkin went crazy with his offense or sat infront of stevens taking his break as a punching bag.

                                        Monroe didn't earn his respect.
