Lets not forget Kevin Mitchell. Hoping he does the business next weekend.

We are doing pretty well at the moment, especially with big wins away from home, but its worth noting we don't have a single fighter who is no.1 in their division that I can think of.

Compared with say 2005-2010 when we had Hatton, Haye and Calzaghe as clear no.1's. Plus a few other alphabet champs as well.

But hey. Things are looking good. Some talented fighters waiting to break onto the main stage too, difficult to say who will succeed and who wont.

Wouldnt say Golden Age but the UK is doing well. Boxing is healthy here.

It always has been but it's defintely improved over the last few years.

There hasn't been a year in the past 25 where a Brit hasn't held a World Super Middleweight title.

We've always produced top Super Middleweights.

Upcoming World Title fights for U.K. fighters, and all on home turf:

Kevin Mitchell vs. Jorge Linares on May 30th - W.B.C. Lightweight

Lee Selby vs. Evgeny Gradovich on May 30th - I.B.F. Featherweight

Lee Haskins vs. Ryosuke Iwasa on June 13th - I.B.F. Bantamweight

Terry Flanagan vs. Jose Zepeda on July 11th - W.B.O. Lightweight

If the U.K. wins 2 or 3 of the 4 they're on fire.

The UK is putting sports on the agenda from school. I use to think it was for glory and the Olympics etc... but since I work in health care, I realise every penny spent is about saving money in the long term.

In the past we had Physical education which was pretty much a game of soccer. Now I hear it is a respected class where people do boxing, basketball, hockey, rugby etc... this may help.

Funny enough Audley Harrison campaigned to get amateurs to get paid money to box etc...

He got the gold in 2000 which helped.

Khan was the only boxer in our Olympic team in 2004... that helped make us realise **** why only one boxer

Since then it's been up and up. 2008 Deglae won a gold, and I think ther medalsits too but I forgot the names

Internet ERA benefits the UK probably the most. Example, I have seen Anthony Joshua entire Pro Career so far and he haven't even fought in the US Yet thanks to the internet and the people who work hard to keep streams up 24/7, now boxing fans have access to it all!

Selling boxing is easier for someone like Eddie Hearn because fans actually give a **** about boxing in the UK while in America promoting is extremely Difficult because it seems like the interest is decreasing. UK is doing great, Froch vs Groves that was some amazing stuff the watch in that Stadium!

England has been producing good fighters since the 90s, but I have to say this, DeGale probably loses in a rematch with Dirrell and he definitely loses to a 100% Ward.

I would love to see Froch get a couple of tune ups then fight DeGale for the title, would be a great fight in England, then the winner fights Ward for the title after Ward gets a couple of tune ups, then GGG grows a pair and moves up and fights the champ at 168, that would be phenomenal!

Boxing generally is still bigger in America than it is over here.

Mexican Americans and Puerto Rican Americans alone are bigger markets than the UK for boxing. Not to say it isnt doing okay here
