How do you score a round with two knockdowns?

If there isn't much action going on in the round and X boxer is boxing better than Y boxer, yet Y boxer gets a Knockdown. It goes 10-8 for Y boxer. Two knockdowns from Y boxer gets 10-7. If X boxer surprises and also gets a knockdown it should go back to 10-8. Up to the judges

What if boxer X (Dirrell) is winning the round quite clearly but no heavy punishment gets then dropped with 30 seconds to go twice. Does boxer Y (degale) get it 10-7 or 10-8?

I would score that round 10-7

After two knockdowns would you still say Dirrell was winning the round? It's a 10-7 round.

It was 10-7 can't score it any other way, Dirrell wasn't winning the round that well to make it 10-8 after two knockdowns.

The better question would be, was that 2nd knockdown legit? I didn't see the replay but I'm not too sure it was.
