I don't care if you're winning the first 2:30 of that round,if you get dropped twice in the last 30 seconds, you lost that round. 10-7 in my opinion.

I mean if a guy goes down once then its a 10-8 as we all know, BUT in that case there is a chance the dropped guy can come back and make it a 10-9 if he puts in some amazing work and makes up for being dropped.

However, I think if in a 3 minute period you are dropped twice, that round is as good as lost no matter what. EXTREMELY hard to make up for being dropped twice all in the same round.

10-7 in my opinion. You can even up/make up for a lost point from being dropped once possibly..but you can't win a round you are dropped twice in.

        This.

He may be winning the round but if he gets dropped he clearly isn't winning the round ahaha. So it's a point for the knockdown and a 10-9 round for the guy that's knocked the other fighter down.

There was a thread on this with one Ko a while ago and it seemed if you won the round clearly but got a flash knock down you could get only a 10-9 against you instead of a 10-8 but to me that makes no sense.

Since you lose a point for Losing the round and lose a point for being knocked down it should be a 9-9 round.

I guess in that case the KD evens up the round (10-10) and then the minus point for KD makes it 10-9?

For me, if you are winning 10-8 and you get dropped once, it's a draw.

However, if it's a close ish round but you are winning 10-8. but then get dropped twice, you lose 2 for the KD but also lose that round because 2 KD's are surely a round you win too. Degale went in on him

                10 point must system :

Winner of the round must receive 10 points (unless he got point off for fouling). The loser of the round nine points (eights points, if knocked down; seven points, if knocked down more than once.)

IMO if u get dropped once but you won the round clearly it's a 9-9 round, but if u get knocked down twice then it's very hard to make a case for 8-9, I scored the round 10-7

a dude has to take a beating to drop somebody and lose the round.

i have not seen dirrell vs degale yet, so i'm not speaking about that fight necessarily.

You must be new to boxing, regardless of who's winning (unless they literally beat the **** out of the other guy besides the knockdown), 1KD=10-8, 2KD-10-7 and 3KD=10-6. Scoring does not go below 6.
