Comparing Abraham with GGG is like comparing a pile of sh|t with a stash of gold.

I'd love this fight to come off. FOTY for sure if it does.

Its a 50/50 imo if's & buts on both sides on how they would/could handle each others size & power.

Froch would do well to keep ggg at range and pile on the pressure in the late rnds. Fitness has never been a problem with Froch & his iron chin, well its still looking good.

I think GGG would need to hurt Froch alot to win this, which he could depending on if his power carries up.

I'd lean towards my man Froch, but only because im biased.

Froch can show which of us is right or wrong, but as I said before, I doubt that Froch will fight GGG.
Which one of GGGs opponents wouldn't be left on the floor by Kessler or Pascal or Abraham? None.

I love how people are suddenly looking at Froch as a guy who's all talk when he's the one who's been fighting past, present and future champions every fight since 2008 or something

        Ridiculous.

I love me some GGG. Most exciting fighter on the planet for me - but he's fighting no-hopers. I believe he'd beat Cotto and the likes. Probably have a solid war with Canelo. But honestly, Carl Froch is a HOFamer and a much much bigger guy. Going from Willie Munroe and Martin Murray to Carl Froch is an infinite step up in class and I think they are believing their hype a little too much.

People have said Froch is slow etc from the beginning of his career - but the guy wins. He's one tough mother***er to beat. His engine is unrivalled in world boxing, he gets angry if you miss him, he has a hard stiff punch - a punch GGG would have never felt before in his career, amateur or pro.

I love how someone said he only had a 68% KO ratio. What a ******ed thing to point to. As if Froch wouldn't have beaten every single guy on GGGs resume by KO too. When you fight some of the best fighters the world has to offer and guys who had never been knocked out with undefeated records and are world champions - everyone's KO ratio would go down too.

Now, if GGG had fought Froch's entire resume - would he have a 90+ KO% and be undefeated? Obviously not.

Honestly, GGG hasn't even beaten anyone on George Groves' level let alone the rest of the guys Froch has fought and beaten.

Froch or Ward both beat GGG. It wouldn't be about size either, they'll be similar in size. GGG was 173 against Rubio, Froch and Ward are about 3-5lbs more than that. It would sinply be one of those instances where a fighter had been fighting a certain level of opposition for way too long and at too old of an age; and become shocked and surprised when they finally take the next step. GGG fangirls don't understand this, they say resumes don't tell who's gonna win. What they refuse to see is that GGG is no spring chicken, it's his resume in relation to his age. GGG isn't some young 24-29 year working on his resume, he is a mid 30s veteran with a weak resume.

It's called an interview. He is asked questions and answers them accordingly. No, BScene articles with fighters being quoted is not a fighter just randomly calling up BPP to talk about another fighter. Contrary to popular belief.

But Abraham not the same doe.

It's the concept. Abraham was a monster at 160 lol, dude was ducked by Pavlik. Abraham and Pavlik both suffered the same fate when they left 160. They were very powerful at MW, scary power. At 168 they were made to look ordinary. Their power was no longer any good there. It was the top level, bigger men, taller, can take a punch and can box. GGG would be no different. He'd have to go back back to Mediocreweight.

Andre Ward would actually be less dangerous since he isn't a hard hitter like Froch and would go inside on Golovkin from time to time. Ward would still win on points but at least Golovkin doesnt have to worry about getting knocked out cold.

Froch is deadly for Golovkin, he can crack and has long rangey arms, To beat Froch you must smother him and tie him up in close and wear him down so he doesn't have room to use those long arms.

Golovkin will get knocked out because he is smaller and gets hit a lot. He also doesn't have the power to hurt Froch, Froch chin is proven, he can take a power shot flush and stand back up.
Their reach is the same from armpit to end of the fist at 24" and Golovkin lands more jabs per round than anyone in the sport.

I have a hard time believing that.

Also, I'm sure Froch's jabs would land more often if he was fighting Martin Murray.

Is this to take place within this year? Or we going to have to watch them dance around each other for the next 5 years.

I don't see how a fighter who is 50-50 on retiring is in the right mindset to fight gennady golovkin
