Don't expect GGG or his camp to comment on this. Abel Sanchez really messed up by running his mouth about GGG being the best from 154-168, he should have just said 160. Now there's pressure on GGG moving up and I don't think he's very eager to do that as he doesn't appear to have the size and his power won't hurt the big boys. There's a reason now that the 168 pounders are throwing bait out to see if he bites. This would be a pretty big fight out in the UK for huge money, but GGG knows even if he gets past Froch (big change he loses) he'll be entering Ward's territory and that fight will be in high demand.
I think his best interest would be just to shut down any talks of 168 and focus on trying to clean out 160, where huge fights with Cotto or Canelo potentially await.

This just might be the best match up I can think of. - People seem to forget that GGG can really box and slip punches when he wants to. No way he´ll be giving free shots to Froch like he did with Monroe and Geale. If this fight happens, Froch will be the only one using the Mexican Helmet Defense. GGG by late TKO.

Froch stylistically is a nightmare for GGG, do you guys even study fights? or you just go off their records and stuff?
I still remember people thought Lucian Bute would destroy Froch but Froch knocked him out, took his belt and his 0.
Froch is slow MAN
**** are you an idiot - froch looked far from stellar in his last two fights
of course he has a chance of winning because of his reach and heigh advantages
personally i think GGG kos - his power will carry up and froch is too easy to hit and he will get hit with combos ok MAN
jesus your a ******

Andre Ward would actually be less dangerous since he isn't a hard hitter like Froch and would go inside on Golovkin from time to time. Ward would still win on points but at least Golovkin doesnt have to worry about getting knocked out cold.
Froch is deadly for Golovkin, he can crack and has long rangey arms, To beat Froch you must smother him and tie him up in close and wear him down so he doesn't have room to use those long arms.
Golovkin will get knocked out because he is smaller and gets hit a lot. He also doesn't have the power to hurt Froch, Froch chin is proven, he can take a power shot flush and stand back up.
So Kovalev has to Hit GGG with everything hes got just to keep him off, but we are to believe Carl "68% KO" Froch is going to keep GGG honest?
Last I checked, his chin isn't what it use to be either... And he has no defense at all.

... Froch: "I'll fight Golovkin if I box again, but it's a big if."
... Froch wants to see if there's a solid demand for such a fight in the UK...
... But he didn't provide enough trash talk in order to get an instant response from the UK fans... I think that Froch isn't too convinced to get into the ring again.
