Hate casual fan logic: GGG will knock his head off

They fail to see the details. GGG fights at 160 against low level comp, while Froch fights @168 and is the #2 guy in the entire division. The odds are against GGG regardless of how much media hype hes got. Thats boxing logic casuals ignore. Then again,anything can happen.

I don't give a crap what Cotto did at 140 or 147.I don't care how many weight classes he or Canelo fought in. All I care about is what they can do NOW, not what they did in the past or what they might do in the future. WHAT CAN THEY DO NOW? As much as a Carl Froch fan as I am, and as big of a step up as this is for Gennady doesn't change my opinion that at the end of the day, Carl won't be able to get this done.

Froch or Ward both beat GGG. It wouldn't be about size either, they'll be similar in size. GGG was 173 against Rubio, Froch and Ward are about 3-5lbs more than that. It would sinply be one of those instances where a fighter had been fighting a certain level of opposition for way too long and at too old of an age; and become shocked and surprised when they finally take the next step. GGG fangirls don't understand this, they say resumes don't tell who's gonna win. What they refuse to see is that GGG is no spring chicken, it's his resume in relation to his age. GGG isn't some young 24-29 year working on his resume, he is a mid 30s veteran with a weak resume.

Its never a good sign when a fighter talks so much about retirement and not being able to get motivated.

Would be a good fight. I favour Froch, but i feel we havent seen the best of GGG.
