Do you think Povetkin is on PEDs?

Stop crying.
Why you bringing up Wlad - still butthurt?
Find me a post of mine where I EVER defended Wlad's clinching, especially the Povetkin fight. I'll wait.
I'd love to see that fight again with a fair ref.
I'm merely making a discussion for a question many people aside from me have on their minds. Seems you can't take it...i'll get you a tissue.
BTW how's life in Russia for you? Oh, wait...Comment

You're the one making it into a political or country discussion. Seems you're the one with the insecurities...
I'm sure you have some expert knowledge on that, guess you spent some 'observation' time with Freedom on nudist beaches.
Fool.

ohh absolutely but russia is still worse imo, more biased in particular. the US goes with the money man, russians go with russians. i think you can push the issue on US soil too, as an opponent in russia there isnt much you or your team can do but roll with it. based on my personal perception of course.Comment

But if neither Russia nor the US really does anything to stop PED use in boxing then why be more su****ious of Russian fighters than US ones? Athletes will always do what it takes to get a competitive advantage, regardless of where they are from.ohh absolutely but russia is still worse imo, more biased in particular. the US goes with the money man, russians go with russians. i think you can push the issue on US soil too, as an opponent in russia there isnt much you or your team can do but roll with it. based on my personal perception of course.Comment

This is a great thread!
Some discussion...
First off I am of the camp that believes that MOST top pro boxers use PED's at SOME points in their career of some sort. This is kind of because they have to to be able to keep up with their competition who can train harder, longer and more frequent than you otherwise as well as being able to develop higher physical strength.
On the other hand though, Povetkin does not display the typical "roided" physique like Wilder and Wlad for instance, but, again, it's very possible to retain some adipose tissue anyway, especially when your training consists mainly of boxing rather than weightlifting exercises which actually lend themselves to having a softer physique.
All we can say is that Povetkin has never been caught using PED's and until he does, he gets the benefit of the doubt. And the IRONY of the situation is that Mike Perez, Carlos Takam, Wlad Klitschko, Hasim Rahman etc etc are just as suspect as Povetkin is of PED's!
As for his performance, no matter what, it's the result of hard work and dedication and to the superiority of his system of training combined.
Povetkin has one of the best resumes now ever at HW, giving Wladimir one of the hardest fights of his career and wasting the rest of his competition, he fights good and hard and has a well rounded skill and attribute set.
Anybody who disses the guy on his merits is simply a hater!Comment
