They've both basically coming off of losses to Khan.

Only difference is Collazo beat a guy with 17 fights who has lost 5 of his last 6.

People should slam this, because it sucks.
The only other real fights out there would be Devon and Berto. And let's not act like they're much better than collazo. Everybody is booked up

Who was honestly out there for Thurman to fight in the early summer, in Florida? GTFOH
Whats the point of PBC if all those guys aren't fighting each other??

PBC is meant to bring boxing back to the public, with crap like this, it can't.

And Thurman was meant to fight Porter, but pulled out. Apparently, to fight Collazo.

Its not a terrible fight. Collazo is a very good fighter, sure Khan absolutely beat the crap out of him, but Khan is the only fighter to handle him. Thats the problem. Thruman criticized Collazo as an opponent for Khan.

Well in that case, after he gets the snot beaten out of him, and a year later, when hes even older, now he's a good opponent? LMAO. Thurman is a clown. Keep your mouth shut, to stop contradicting yourself Thurman.

It obviously should've been Porter Thurman, it easily could've been.

But Haymon again protecting what he thinks is his important chess pieces, and this kind of thinking is always going to fail. LIke D Garcia, waiting years to put on Garcia Peterson like its some amazing holy grail fight. The result? It was a crap fight, that Peterson appeared to win, making the fight even crapper.

You have to aim for the moon in every fight, if you want to go anywhere on network TV. Haymon doesn't get it. PBC continues its slide into failure.

This is what the haters are missing. Of the people available in July his choices were limited. From what I can see his options were pretty much Collazo, Berto, Alexander, or insert some other named fighter outside the top ten. What exactly have Alexander or Berto done in recent fights to make them a better choice?

For the haters. Who exactly was he suppose to fight in July that is a top guy?

Smh Guerrero was Thurmans biggest win and they shouldve followed up with a big fight to build momentum. If Thurman was more active itd be understandable that he fight a few guys at Collazos level. Obviously Hardcore fans arent the intended audience. Bad move on Haymons part. At least Thurmans in the ring again, no point in sitting waiting for a big fight.

Everyone is only booked up because Thurman refused to fight Porter. Originally, that was the fight that was meant to be made.

Thurman is straight up being a coward, and a hypocrite. He criticizes everyone else, yet he fights Guerrero a career lightweight, and now Collazo, Khans leftovers.

Alexander already said he is willing to fight Thurman. That's a far far better fight. And I have a feeling its a fight that Thurman doesn't want, because I genuinely think, and I think Thurman knows, Alexander could definitely beat him.
