    Digging the undercard fight.

Don't understand why Thurman isn't getting better fights than this though.

Aahhh of course why didnt i see it. Its a PBC thing. If this was on HBO then hell yeah Thurman is a beast. Network fanboys cheering crap on their network and hating on better fights cause its PBC. Yes this is better than all those on HBO

Gotta build that brand for the big fights.

            Why not Thurman-Porter and Broner-Collazo?

This is the first one, and you'd expect them to lead strong, yet this looks like a step down from Thurman's fight on NBC.

It's not an awful fight, but it's not a great one either.

And when you also look at it with Robert Guerrero-Aaron Martinez, you can begin to see the cycle of these fighters on the PBC.
Realistically, they want to build guys just like what HBO does if you fight a killer (or guys good enough to spoil looking good) every time out people won't care that they were tough fights. They will just see iffy performances against guys they couldn't pick out of a line-up before hand.

ESPN wants a highlight for their top 10 list of the night I reckon also.

This sort of fight is not for hard core fans this is the sort of fight to get people connected with Thurman, while still being fairly credible. I just hope the stoppage is worth it.

Didn't Tony Harrison just fight on ESPN? Very smart of PBC to do that. Nelson is damn near the same height as him too. Quality step up.

Not like people are lining up to fight Thurman and he is instead fighting guys like Collazo. Collazo has heart, he is probably the only one that stepped up and accepted the challenge.

Nobody at 147 is looking to fight Thurman. Then if Porter beats Broner maybe they can do that fight next finally.

Stylistically it could make for a entertaining match up, Collazo has a chin and heart so he will come to fight and we know Thurman will come to fight so while I'm not crazy about the match up, I'm OK with it for now. Next fight for Thurman needs to be a Big One!

IDK for sure... IMO best bet would be floyd fight someone else in SEP. Then later on we get Khan-Thurman and maybe winner fight Floyd in his 50th fight?

Lots of possibilities... and with the titles soon to be vacated. I can definitely see Khan-Thurman for at least one of those titles. (Thurman would be elevated to "WBA Super World Champion)
