They're just so desperate to find any kind of victory from this because Pacquiao was too inferior a fighter to do it himself

At all the Pac fans trying to blame Mayweather. Like Kellerman asked Pacquiao.

"You knew that coming in so didn't you have to do something to get him to stay?" Pacquiao's answer? "Yes when he's coming in i counter."

Pacquiao's gameplan was to counter a counter puncher. That's why it was "boring" and explains Pacquiao's low output.

Mayweather the nice chicken runner didn't kill boxing he just stunk it out and the sooner he is gone the sooner we will get back to what BOXING has ALWAYS BEEN !!!!!!!

You weren't even in diapers during the era of Liston vs Patterson, you don't know the electricity that fight made, you have no idea of the power of Radio and hearing a blow by blow in the only medium to have made contact with that fight, or to have it Stamped in yer mind this is what Boxing is about as a young kid.

Your dribble is nothing more than dribble, so dribble mang, and by the way it will be anticlimactic to go and find the radio transcript and listen to it, it will sound so ODD to you because of the technology of this day puts it to shame. BUT you will have missed all the DRAMA that fight and MUCHO MORE CREATED. We had to search the papers in the sports section daily to get bits and pieces , NOW its CRAMMED DOWN YER THROATS ,,,,just open yer maw and here it is every morning.

No one fight will kill boxing.

            but

I will say this , if from NOW on until the very end, boxing makes a left turn and BOXING BECOMES a sport of Chicken vs Chaser, then boxing will fade away in the gloom of darkness forever. People will be sickened as they were May 2.

GGG , KOVALEV , and a host of others will get her back on track.

Styles are a part of boxing bro and always have been. Willie Pep, Niccolino Loche, Pernell Whitaker, Floyd Mayweather are all ATG fighters.

Isaac did we watch the same fight? I never saw Pac run away in that fight, he was actually the one moving forward, Pac couldn't pull the trigger, when he did come in close Floyd grabbed, I actually heard Floyds father telling his son stop fighting scared.

Hatton is 100% right. This fight damaged boxing and there were more negatives then positives. This fight opened up to casual fans and instead of them leaving saying wow this is why I need to invest more in boxing they left saying wow what a joke this is why I don't care about boxing. Both fighters are to blame. Mayweather is to blame for the boring fight running and hugging all night. Pacquiao is to blame for lying and hiding a injury making the whole fight look like staged WWF and opening the fight up to all kinds of lawsuits that sully boxing. Both fighters collected huge checks but trampled boxing's reputation in the process.

Pacquiao couldn't pull the trigger? No he chose not to, listen to his post fight interview his gameplan was to counter Mayweather. He knew if he fought like he usually does he'd get a beating. He was scared of the chicken.
