Starting with Pac. He looked Terrible, he wasn't using the right like I thought he should, even saying throw the right, well now we know he couldn't.

Just about when there was an engagement of fisticuffs Jr took off running to the other side of the ring, AFTER he threw a pitty pat shot that would make grandmother giggle.

This was , is and shall never be good for boxing, only about 14 or 15 like you here on NSB.

Over the years I have seen men lose and win, this one fight is not the end of the nice world , I am more concerned about how the fight went and the fair play involved from the grassroots of its begining to end and how that affects boxing as a whole, than one fight.

I have said this fight needs to end in a KO. Jr couldn't KO a fly. and we don't know about Pac anymore, maybe he can't either.

ONE thing I KNOW: ONE RAN and ONE CHASED

I KNOW ONE CHICKEN CHASER that might just catch that CHICKEN hahahaha wanna guess ??

GGG is the nice answer. But in Vegas I don't believe that anyone can get the fair shake they deserve. Vegas was built on corruption and continues on corruption. Jr will win a decision over ANYONE in Vegas, it matters not if he was whupped or NOT. He will get the decision over GGG, all he has to do is

    RUN, hahahahahaha,,,,run little rabbit run.
lmao @ you mentioning listen vs patterson to make yourself somehow a true fan of the sport, instead it just made you look like an idiot. I have never seen you in the history section nor have i ever heard you speak in any way shape or form about the historical context of why any fight NOT involving pacquiao was so important. Whats next, youre gonna talk about why mayweather pacquiao didint look more like Gonzalez vs Carbajal? How about the super fight between Eubank vs Benn?

Dont make me laugh. I dont know how some of you do it.

In fact, the way he beat Pac sums up Jr.'s career. Boring, just enough to get by, and never taking the risk to be great. If he wanted to go for greatness and prove he was really the better man, why not step up the volume? Load up on some shots? Why not try to KO your 5+ year rival rather than settle for a decision that in hindsight, people are saying Pac might of even won when you slow mo the f**k out of the fight (lol).

I don't care that he beat Pac, I care about the way he beat Pac. It wasn't enough to call him a man and say he deserved it or earned it. Marquez got that. Marquez deserves all the props (juice or not), to have walked into the lion's mouth, bloodied and nearly on verge of KO himself to throw the punch of a lifetime.

Looking at Jr.'s win? Meh, not impressive what so ever. Only impressive that he once again stole my money.
I think your post is complete and utter bull****. But you're entitled to your opinion. What I wanna know is why are Manny's supporters putting all the blame on Floyd? This was the best two fighters of their era, who are two of the best fighters ever. This was thr best defensive fighter of his era, and one of the best defensive fighters ever. Against the best offensive fighter of his era, and one of the best offensive fighters ever. We knew what Floyd wanted to do. He just wasn't supposed to be able to do it against Manny. At least that's what your kind has been saying the last half decade+. Why wasn't Manny able to impose himself on Floyd? And when he saw that he couldn't, why didn't he go out guns blazin'? Why was Manny content to let Floyd coast to an easy win? And if you're from the school of, "Manny thought he was winning." If Manny truly thought he was winning and was content to coast. That sounds eerily familiar to what you just accused Floyd of doing. So in either scenario, according to your logic doesn't Manny deserve as much criticism as Floyd, if not more?

It was damaging for the sport. I can't imagine there is anyone out there saying they loved it. Considering they're two all-time greats, the money they walked away with, what the fans had to pay, it was all a bit of a letdown.
This is exactly how I feel. Like I have said before, the price alone of this "fight" should command an actual FIGHT and not a FLIGHT. None of the other previous mega-fights even compare to the magnitude of this event. Especially with the help of technology in this age, this event was definitely watched by millions of people around the world. Everyone who paid for this and anyone who was able to watch this should've left with the feeling that they saw a freaking epic fight and were tremendously glad that they were alive to see and experience this when it happened. But all the people got was a freaking snooze-fest.

Not to mention that Floyd even said that he'll be aggressive for this match and that this will be an exciting match days before the fight. And then when fight night finally arrives, he fights scared for most of the night and resorts to hugging and holding to halt Pac's offense which slows down the action of the fight even more LOL. People of the next generation will surely laugh their ass of when they learn and hear about how much this fight generated and how many people watched this "event".

I train my boys boxing out of a UFC gym (because theres no Boxing gyms close by) and all the MMA neandrethals have been clowning boxing daily ever since the "big" fight. The times that I havent gone to the gym instructors at the gym have been telling my boys boxing sucks, its a dead sport, & they need to change their stance to MMA etc... Before the "big" fight the UFC gym was expecting a skyrocket of membership in their boxing classes but it actually went opposite after. I personally think boxing will always be bigger than MMA because that sport has its own issue (ie. Steroids) but boxing didnt do anything that day to cement its claim to glory. Personally I think Manny & Floyd shouldve put on a show for "the sport" but I guess if theres guaranteed purses of 150million+ theres no need to worry about anyone else thinks. Sad but I guess its human nature. Lets hope the new generation does the sport some justice, hopefully PBC produces along with the other promotional companies & they all start working together to make the best fights possible and make superstars that actually care about the sport of boxing and not Ferraris and politics.
This is the truth, Floyd fans will avoid it or try to spin it. I remember last week when I went to the doctor I was having a casual conversation, and I asked any of you see the fight last week(I was actually referring to Canelo vs Kirkland then), and the first response was "I did or the lack thereof". The fight was a joke, and it's not because Floyd won, it's how he won, at one point during the fight Floyd tried to land a 3 punch combination, and people cheered, why? Because they just wanted to see a good fight.

If everytime Mayweather fights he turns off casual fans from the sport, how in the hell does he progressively have the three highest grossing PPVs of all time?

Very rare to find an interview with an honest assessment of what took place. That promoter from Main Events was the most honest so far. But over 5 million fans saw for themselves. Floyd cannot erase that with all the bought propaganda enforced. He ran like a b*tch and hugged for his life! From a Filipino midget with one arm! He is in the Bhop category of greatness. They win fights, sure...but how!

Why is Floyd still #1 on p4p lists while Manny dropped down If that's the case?

                  This right here.

Manny not only lost, he was controlled, dominated and ultimately decided it was better to lose by UD and lie than to go out on his shield. Anyone watching the fight saw this so a certain segment needs to minimize what happened any way they can.

The fight made casual fans realize the sport of boxing isn't just about punching power and that the fighters they love have been very carefully brought along and are made to look much better than they really are. I can see how that hurts the sport in the short term.

I don't think it damaged boxing at all and I disagree with all this negative talk regarding the fight. Casual fans are fickle and many will say, "I'm done with boxing! This was boring! UFC is sooo much better." But the next big fight that happens, they'll buy it. And they'll do it again and again. It happens with the Super Bowl every year. Some are memorable, some are blowouts, some are low-scoring affairs, but casuals tune in regardless because they want to throw parties, hang with friends, etc. Same with boxing and they'll buy another boxing PPV again, even a Mayweather one. Don't let the minor fallout after the fight fool you. With this generation's short attention span, you could probably sell a May-Pac rematch in September and it still do 3 million. "Pac is healed! 100% better than ever! Killer instinct is back! Floyd frowned at an old lady, he's evil! Tune in for $99! It'll be different than last time, we promise!"

I thought it was a solid fight and I actually enjoyed it so we could finally put the debate to bed. As for UFC breathing down the neck of boxing, not anymore. Maybe a few years ago when Silva and GSP were all the rage, but in the past couple of years UFC has dipped in terms of popularity and boxing has had a bit of a reemergence. We've had some incredible fights over the past 4 years, many more than UFC has had. And boxing is doing bigger number in terms of PPV viewership and now that PBC has been doing pretty well, I think boxing is in quite a comfortable position and UFC is still playing catchup.
