Unlike you, I wasn't using Canelo's age as a measure to determine whether or not he was in his prime, so your argument is invalid.
Then what the hell are you using to measure it? Your prime years are 22-30 years in the sporting world...physically he will not get any better as he ages. Mentally he may improve, but his physical skills will be declining as well.

The consistency of this rise-peak-decline pattern is striking, even across very different sports. For nearly every major sport, the age of peak performance is in the range of 22-30, and some interesting trends emerge when you look at sport type in relation to an athlete’s peak age. The age at which performance tends to peak across sports seems to mirror the continuum from purely explosive, athletic sports to slower, more skill-based sports, with explosive sports peaking earlier. Further, even within sports that combine different abilities, explosive abilities (e.g. base stealing in baseball) tend to peak earlier than more cognitive, skill-based abilities (e.g. drawing walks in baseball).

      Sure you did.

I'm not here to defend your opinion. That responsibility falls on you to convince me otherwise.

YOU were the one who claimed Canelo wasn't prime. Have you forgotten already? LOL

You said he was before his prime then claimed there is no way to measure if a fighter is prime or not So explain to all the people who have called you out on your b.s. how was Canelo not prime by your estimate?

        Don't say **** you can't back up.

          No Canelo beats TBE.

He is not the chosen one unfortunately

          Maybe Thurman
          NOT GGG

The brother is bad. He is the best in the game right now. Maybe TBE

You're seriously misrepresenting my words. I suggest you put the mouse down, step away from the keyboard, and get some sleep.

I and other people have asked you to explain how Canelo was not in his prime when he fought Floyd and you still can't do it. This is almost as sad as you claiming Ali TKO'd Frazier in the second fight

I was obviously referring to the third fight, and we aren't discussing Ali or Frazier, so stay on topic.

Who has Canelo beaten before facing Fraud that would lead you to believe that he was in his "prime"? Let's compare him to his contemporaries like Vargas and ODLH.

When ODLH was 23, he already had wins over Genaro Hernandez, Rafael Ruelas, Jeff Mayweather, and J.J. Molina. All of them were elite opposition.

Vargas at 23 was fighting guys like Tito Trinidad, Raul Marquez, Ike Quartey, and Winky Wright.

Although Alvarez had already racked up 44 career wins prior to facing Floyd, he was yet to fight any elite level opposition. The first opponent that you can even consider to be "elite" was Austin Trout, and he was well on his way to losing that fight if he hadn't scored a knockdown.

No you weren't obviously referring to the third fight. You actually tried to correct me when you said Ali "TKO'D Frazier in the second fight." And im never going to stop clowning you over that mistake.

And talent of the opposition does not determine if a fighter is prime or not. A fighter's prime is determined by his physical and mental peak. A man's testosterone level flatlines at 25 and declines at 30 (this is just science). So at 23 years old with 44 fights in the bag after 8 years as a pro Canelo is probably as good as he's ever going to get.

Posters here have presented you with numerous fighters who were prime at 23 after you specifically said "Name one fighter who was in their prime at that age." We've named several fighters who were prime at 23.

You Pacquiao fans are so new to boxing you probably think Manny's sudden improvement at the age of 30 is something normal It's not! Try again buddy

You're only clowning yourself with each consecutive post you make defending Fraud's win over what you foolishly believe to be a "prime" Canelo.

So prime is determined by physical and mental peak now? Changing your stance so quick after I completely derailed your initial argument. And for the record, males NEVER stop producing testosterone, dummy. The flatline that you mentioned can only be caused by medical reasons.

The testes, unlike the ovaries, do not run out of the substance it needs to make testosterone. A healthy man may be able to make ***** well into his 80s or later.
