No announcement yet.
Broner can move up *two* weight classes but Bum-love-kin can't move up one?!?

He wasn't heavily hyped like Golovkin and didn't have HBO announcers acting like giddy school girls after every punch he threw at the tomato cans that he fought.
Marvin Hagler was considered a mediocre nobody for 90 percent of his career. He was only held in high regard for his last 10-12 fights, so there was no reason for him to move up either.
Floyd Mayweather beat four CURRENT world champions in three weight classes before he appeared in his first PPV.
GGG beats up on glorified sparring partners and thinks that should get him in a PPV. Like GGG, Cotto and Alvarez can make the same amount of money fighting tomato cans or third rate fighters as they can fighting a quality opponent. That is what they will continue to do after they fight each other. GGG will NEVER appear in a PPV fight because he is not PPV material.
Call me a hater if you want, but everything I have said is true or will become truth in the next few years.
so because hagler and Hopkins weren't popular, they didn't have too move up?
but ggg has too move up because he is popular?
bull**** excuse.
bottom line, Hopkins middleweight run is basically the same as golovkins if he gets cotto and canelo, as Hopkins got tito and Oscar.

Alot of fighters didnt belong in the ring with him but the media brainwashes people easy. victo ortiz was a quitter who ppl forgot about it because he beat overrated berto, get real. marcos maidana really??? just because he exposed a hypejob?
you named the only 3 fighters that weren't money fights. and Ortiz still turned into a money fight cause it did 1.2. million buys.
and if he fought pacquiao in 2009, he wouldn't have made 120 million in 36 mins.
bottom line every great fighter has had too make fights against guys who weren't on their level.
pacquiao-rios,diaz,algieri
just for example

At least he had the balls to move up into more competitive divisions...unlike ggg.

If you have to ask this question then you're already opposing the obvious truth. Two very different situations.
And what's the criteria for threads that stay and go here? the other day bushbaby had his thread deleted asking how "Golovkin" fares against Canelo, Cotto, and Floyd, but this agenda laden thread is going well and good...
