Who else could he have chosen who would accept the fight?

    smh
He picked a mofo that can't punch for shi.t.

GGG didn't showcase anything, except how easy he is to hit..

Remember his other options at the time? ..Tureano Johnson, Heiland..? Remember everyone shitting on those possibilities saying Monroe would be the better test but GGG was afraid of "slick" styles or whatever? He picks the "better" option but still gets shit on.

I'm not saying Monroe or most of GGG's past opponents were great, challenging fights, but they were the best options at the time given the circumstances I mentioned above..
More shameless apologizing from the Bum-love-kin crowd.

Maidana hid behind his pregnant girlfriend instead of rematching Broner.

            The point still stands.

Marcos Maidana is arguably one of the two hardest punching welterweights and Broner moved up to fight him.

Exactly WHO has Bum-love-kin moved up to fight?

4.GGG doesn't have time to fart around in the MW division any longer.
              5.He's starting to slip already
I agree that he should move up and take some real challenges SOON..
But, think about the position he is in for a moment. At least 2-3 VERY lucrative fights remain a possibility in his own division (Canelo, Cotto, etc). Close to unifying and becoming undisputed MW King. After all the work he's been doing at 160, why would he leave all that behind to fight lesser names at 168 while waiting around for Ward to finish his tune-ups?

The moderation is terrible around here. You would think they'd crack down on all these alts invading the board. Between alts and idiots, I now have 15 people on my ignore list. On a properly run board, I would have none.

Undisputed MW king means nothing if the division is dead.
Golovkin has not been working hard....c'mon now.

GGG is too OLD to be waiting around for small,non-challenging fighters like Cotto and Canelo..

Canelo and Cotto DON'T NEED Golovkin.

If he were 23....yes...wait around and unilfy...but at 33.....get off your as.s and DARE to be great.
