You saying Dawson would have been roadkill for anyone else at 168 is nothing but speculation.
The Dawson only lost because he was weight drained does not hold water and let me tell you why.
Dawson was never in the fight. It's not like he was winning and then inexplicably gassed. That is the sign of possible drainage. Dawson was never in the fight. He got systematically beaten down round after round until the TKO.
This weight drained garbage is just excuses boxers make in defeat and something fans with SHALLOW knowledge use to discredit a boxer's victory. Specifically when said boxer beats their favorite fighter.
Wrestlers are the KINGS of weight cutting. Talk to a wrestler about a boxer being drained because he went down a few pounds. Most will laugh.
The majority of wrestlers cut weight throughout their entire career (starting in the 6th grade).
Weight cutting is only an excuse for guys that have to shed major weight CONSISTENTLY.
Canelo losing 2 pounds to face FLoyd is laughable. Most of lose two pounds in our sleep.
I just wish the naivety would end already.
Ward beat Dawson fair and square.
Ward's victims include Chad Dawson, Carl Froch, Mikkel Kessler and Arthur Abraham.
GGG hasn't faced anyone like those aforementioned guys in his life. Yet he has more hype than Ward. SMH. Some boxing fans are just plain ******.

Now he's fighting Shawn Porter at a catchweight.
Why does GGG need to move up? Just because you wanna see him lose?
Broner was fighting midgets he was always bigger than. GGG still has people in his division to fight. Not to mention Cotto at a unification, Canelo, and possibly even a Lara is rumored to wanna move up and fight him.
GGG has talked about being interested un moving up and fighting an Andre Ward and other fighters. Stop tryin to rush the dude out of his division til he cleans just because you wanna see him lose. Broner was fighting BUM midgets, now trying to suck Porter down at a catchweight because he knows shaun is strong at 147.
Look at this... once again, when the fighter is not named Floyd Mayweather then moving up is seen as a big risk.
LOL! #HYPOCRITES

The rest of the wins are fine, but if AA on a 2 losing (at full exposure) streak is one of the highlights, maybe it's closer than it seems. Look at Kessler's win ledger before facing Ward, GGG is probably ahead. Froch OTOH has a far superior resume than GGG, yet doesn't wanna fight him despite numerous advantages: his weight class, fight in the UK, Froch far more proven.

If Adrien's last name was BRONESKI hailing from somewhere in Europe he'd be revered and his accomplishments cherished and hyped.
Broner has been matched tougher than GGG and has accomplished more in his career.
But because the powers that be HYPE GGG up to gigantic proportions, it seems preposterous to even compare Broner to GGG. When in reality, Broner has been matched tougher and has accomplished more.
Imagine Broner being able to feast on the likes of Jr Welterweight versions of Geale, Murray, Rubio, Stevens and Monroe? LOL! Broner would be undefeated with as many knockouts as wins.
Lets see how GGG looks after fights with Froch, Ward, Lemeuix, Canelo and Kid Chocolate.
