They're both looking like **** lately so I think it could be a fun fight.

However this isn't winning anyone back. LSC is forever tainted, the way he ran away from any decent competition at 122 was too much.

This mofo said he'd fight anyone, then hides behind Haymon and names his son Al as a thank you

Is Rigo going to take the fight on the cheap? Of course he isn't. Rigo wants the fight but he wants the fight at his number. This is not Marquez going over to Indonesia to fight Chris John for 10K. It's a Pac/May 2009 situation except Rigo doesn't have Floyds fan base.

mares is the only decent name at 122 or 126 that santa cruz can beat. rigondeaux, frampton, walters, lomachenko and even russell jr would beat the hell out of him

A construction worker/insrance salesman? lol I thought he looked like a 12yo chicklet vendor they pulled from the Tijuana/San Diego border. hahaha! To his credit, he was/is a tuff chicklet salesman.

Yeah, but Floyd has a personality, or at least a persona that is fan appealing. Many people watch his fights just to see him lose.

Rigo as a dull personality. Or no personality at all. That's why it's hard to sell his fights

Mares doesn't make up for Cruz's embarrassing run

Its just a step in the right direction

I'm not falling for the whole 1 fight makes up for it all game, an old promoters trick

Rigo has personality he just doesn't speak English and to top it off boxing has horrible translators.

I actually think his D is pretty solid for what he does. A basic high guard, but he's nice at catching stuff on his gloves and arms.
