It's funny cuz Rigo can be just as boring as Floyd..... Only thing is there's no money in his fights.

Santa Cruz/Mares is a war I still want to see.

Leo's gonna have to unify at 122 or fight one of the champs at 126 to get the fans back on his side though.

Seriously, how does anyone still care about Mares/Santa Cruz? Both guys have done nothing but look like crap against mediocre opponents for 2 years now. It might be a decent fight, but it sure as hell doesn't mean anything besides being a decent fight. It certainly doesn't redeem Santa Cruz ducking everyone worth a damn in his division.

I have to disagree. At least on it being too late, if anything the timing would be perfect for both guys. Both guys are still in their 20's and they really don't like each other, and it is a very marketable fight. This is a type of fight that could really kick their careers back in. Leo even with all his shennanigans is young and undefeated. He could easily turn things around. Mares is still young and his only loss was from getting caught by a left hook from a guy that has one of the best left hooks in the game. I certainly would'nt be so quick to write them off.

Its just an excuse to duck Rigo. Lara has no fans but Canelo still fought him out of pride and for the sport. I dont even like Canelo but at least he stepped up to the plate. Santa Cruz should learn something from him.

Pretty much this, I don't like Canelo but I respect the hell out of the kid though. LSC thinking a Mares fight is going to raise his stock lol... His only chance is fight and KO Rigo, and that's not happening. No interest in LSC no matter what he does really.

Lsc... Won his last fight but really lost because he could not stop a construction worker/insurance salesman who took the fight on 2 week notice. Mares is not impressive either. All roads lead to Rigo, well they should. Bunch of sallys just fight him, take the boxing lesson and maybe become a better fighter because of it.

Odd day that I agree with you, but you are right. It's not even about Rigo for me, he hasn't fought any quality opposition whatsoever, Mares isn't enough. I mean the last guy that he fought did it with two weeks notice and he still wasn't able to take him out lol.

The upside if Leo stops Rigo is that he beats the BEST. Ubtil a champion beats Rigo, he is no champion. It is better just to move up in weight class and avoid Rigo, the Undisputed.
