Kneeguel "El Joto" Cotto would've had flashbacks if he watched it, , .

Why no one asked him why he's fighting a guy who brings nothing and got knocked by GGG???

Wait, weren't there Cotto representatives at the Canelo/Kirkland fight?

Cotto watched the fight just like everyone else. Just can't admitted. Can't give the impression he cares about Canelo. He's getting ready to be his usual diva self during the new set of negotiations.

Exactly what I am thinking/hoping. GGG literally said lately 'not in the future...now' as a response to Canelo and Cotto not committing to the idea.

If Cotto and Canelo fight and the winner fights GGG then that is cool, we could all be happy with that. I get the feeling that GGG would not be interested in that though and just fight which ever one wanted too.

Again go back and look at the news stories, a lot of them are "Canelo pushes for May 2nd fight" and a few of them are "radio silence from Miguel Cotto."
Yeah, because Manny/Floyd may have been done. So the option was NY on June 6th, Canelo wanted May 2nd in Las Vegas, he settled for May 9th in Houston. I fail to see how that's Cotto's fault exactly for not wanting to fight the week after a $100 PPV, not smart in any way.

Apparently the answer is sign the contract, then do the entire thing over again when May/Pac got done. Why not just fight in NY on June 6th? He ran off with his tail between his legs but it's Cotto's fault doe lol...

Yeah, I read it a few times and still couldn't understand what it said. Either way, **** or not it's levels above anything Kirkland has done which is the issue. He's a real MW, has been active and not off for 16 months or whatever it was. He's had a title and his only bad loss was against a monster at 160, not a feather fisted club fighter.

So his resume isn't great, compared to Kirkland it's world class.
