Hilarious too that Cotto had to step up and fight Martinez because Canelo would not. Now, the peasants are asking Cotto to fight GGG for Canelo, while Canelo hides at 155lbs and talks about fighting GGG in the "future."

If Cotto were serious about fighting Canelo, he should be in the audience, getting a first hand lookat how Canelo moves, etc. Saying he didn't watch it doesn't look good on him if that's his opponent later this year...

It was a predictable fight. No surprises.

Cotto's BIG return is absolute fraud, and the arrogance of the dude. he beat delvin rod, a known to be disabled champ and his first defence is geale coming from a loss at a catch-do me a favour.

Cotto knew and anybody who followed boxing closely knew that Kirkland was too inactive (after 17 months) for far too long to successfully fight Canelo . In fact, it was irresponsible to present this fight another way. So, no big deal as far as this win is concerned - one should not put too much into it (it sure doesn't mean that Canelo would look any better if he fought Mayweather or Lara once again).
