Mayweather's offense is limited, he is unable to take guys out or even pressure them, sometimes you seem him try and as soon as he gets cracked hard he reverts to potshooting (think second Maidana fight). Thing is that people here like to overcomplicate things but a good offense is easy to see, and Floyd fights too negative to mount an effective offense, keyword is effective. Maybe in his lightweight days but that was then, he has adjusted because he can't hurt people like he used to at the lower weights but at the end of the day his offensive output is too low to be considered effective, he does just enough. If defense is making your opponent miss as many punches as possible what does good offense mean?
Which is more flawed - GGG's defence or Floyd's offence?

Are you trolling or plain ******? Floyd's offence is great, his aggression isn't. No one in boxing transitions from attack to defence like he does. There's a reason why he always has a high punch accuracy and that is because he is very efficient with his punch selection. To some of you newer fans, watch Floyds fights in the lighter divisions. He was a killer.Comment
