Back when Tyson was at his peak he was a huge favourite to win every fight he had and millions of people all over the world tuned in hoping and expecting to see Iron Mike demolishing yet another challenger. They always more or less knew that Tyson was going to win, but they also knew it was going to be exciting and would most likely end with a KO.
The average sports fan who doesn't follow boxing closely wouldn't even have known that GGG was a big favourite to beat Monroe and wouldn't have cared too much about that anyway.Comment

Monroe hit like chrissie Algieri or Paulie just Taps
Marilyn Monroe got beaten terribly and wanted out. Thing about blacks is that blacks submit and give up very easily and always have since the plantation days of the whip.Comment

More unrelated gibberish. Going back and forth with you is like conversing with a babbling teenager that draws conclusions that don't conclude.
Why would I bet you on something that was never my premise to begin with? I never stated that Ward would brutally KO GGG or even stop GGG. Again, stick to the facts.
I will bet you under the condition that if GGG tries to attack Ward with the same aggressive style he's been using with these B level, tailored made fighters, Ward will give him a noticeable beating. I would bet you that.Last edited by richardt; 05-17-2015, 01:12 PM.Comment

Boxing doesn't need saving, but it isn't as popular with casual sports fans, especially in the States, as it once was, and fights like Canelo/Kirkland and GGG/Monroe would bring more fans to the sport if they were seen by the "casuals"

Also a good point was made by one of my friends. He said he doesn't believe boxing is a real sport because there's not a clear winner. He was speaking on the judging and how a decision isn't decisive. I told him it was the nature of the sport, but for that reason, he was turned off from boxing.Comment

So Floyd makes 180 times what GGG makes?? WTF?
Go figure how in an American Society a woman beating uneducated disrespectful felon prison alum abuser like mayweather makes 200 times what GGG makes in a fight. GGG is such a better person and a more exciting fighter and a much more better person than than lowly gutter dwelling poorly raised abusive degenerate Floyd?Comment

Golovkin did what he had to do.But anybody who thinks he wasnt gassed or struggled a little bit is wrong. His power saved him again, not discrediting his performace in any way. It seems like his power makes up for his defensive flawsComment

I don't think GGG had any respect for Monroe's power, so felt he could take shots, to land shots. He made 'Big drama show'.
He's hittable, but his defense isn't bad. If he felt that Munroe's power was dangerous early on in the fight, i think he would of been more elusive.
That was the first time i'd seen Monroe fight. I thought he looked pretty good at times. I'd like to see him against some of the other contenders at MW.Comment

And a boxer taking deep breaths in his corner in between rounds does NOT mean that he is gassed. Did he look gassed when the bell rang for the next round?Comment
