And if mayweather fights cotto or khan and canelo fights anyone but cotto in september, what happens? canelo doesnt get the date.

Canelo doesnt even have an opponent yet, much less a contract with mgm for september.

I could actually like canelo if he wasnt such a diva. I dont really have any young fighters I like and need to find some because everyone is retiring soon. I like his style in the ring but hes such a crybaby ***** outside the ring.

Cotto has Jay-z. That won't work with Haymon. Khan has Ramadan, Mayweather won't leave the date.


That leaves you with Thurman, Garcia, Brook, GGG 154.5, and Canelo.

Mayweather is bigger than Haymon.

Yea, Haymon fighters won't be fighting any GB or Roc fighters anytime soon, but Floyd is a bit of an exception, especially since PPV numbers depend on which opponent he will be fighting.

If its a choice between a big PPV fight rematch with someone and some Haymon fighter, and both are perceived as equally risky, Floyd is definitely going to go with the bigger money fighter.

I think Floyd could get a Cotto or Canelo rematch, but those guys will only fight at 154, or maybe even above that. They are fights that are a bit dangerous but Floyd knows he can win those fights, but I don't know if he fancies fighting those guys at those weights. Too much risk probably.

There are rumblings of potentially Khan or Thurman, and I would not be surprised at all if its Thurman, or maybe even Danny Garcia. Both are fighters Floyd would easily outpoint, but he is not going to fight Khan. I really think Khan would trouble the hell out of Floyd. Only guy at WW I think can beat Floyd.
