Canelo might be trying to force his way into a rematch with Floyd Mayweather

I have no interest in seeing a rematch, but It could happen if Canelo refuses to step aside on 9/12

Mayweather will Shut Out Canelo Again if this happens.

This is a good breakdown by EGO.

Negative. As long as Oscar's lame ass has that lawsuit running there will be NO BUSINESS whatsoever between Golden Boy Promotions and Mayweather Promotions or any Haymon managed fighter (Mayweather).

Same reason Floyd is not going to fight Cotto. Roc Nation Sports is owned by Jay Z whose wife claims she was mismanaged by Haymon. So there's beef there too.

Canelo has some good momentum going for him, a rematch is gonna kill that.

The Beef between Haymon and Jay-Z is at a much higher level.

Oscar would work with Haymon to get Canelo a rematch with Floyd. It may help with relations in regards to the lawsuit. A settlement could get reached. Most likely this is a lawsuit that will fail.

Canelo doesn't have it in him to go all out like a maidana. His stamina won't allow it. Another easy win

There is no way that Saul Alvarez has gotten that much better in 2 years. Also Floyds wins over Maidana twice & Pacman are way better than anything Canelo has done since the fight.

I don't think Maidana is as good as Lara to be honest. But the Pac schooling won't be topped by anyone for a while. I think learning he CANT outbox him is a big lesson learned but as said, Canelo can blitz Mayweather but not all fight. Maybe with Memo he can last an extra round or two but he'd have to hope for a KD or two within 6 which quite frankly is probably never going to happen. Canelo should pressure Cotto because without Canelo what's Cotto going to do? Fight GGG? Lol
