What would Mayweather's motivation be for fighting Canelo again? The first victory left absolutely no doubt who the better fighter was. T

Too many obstacles until next year, Canelo is with Golden Boy & HBO. After his contract is up, Mayweather could choose to fight for whoever or just retire.

Mayweather will Shut Out Canelo Again if this happens.

This is a good breakdown by EGO.

hbo/showtime are not about too split everything again for a mayweather/canelo fight.

hbo would rather make canelo/cotto or canelo/ggg instead of canelo/mayweather. because they don't have too split anything

Floyd is going to end up making another $225 mil combined for beating canelo and Manny again simply because they both have absolutely delusional and ******ed fans that would rather die than acknowledge Floyd is the better man.

I wish I had ******ed people like this running my office so I could do same.

Any mayweather rematch fight would happen on Showtime

Except Canelo acknowledges mayweather beat his ass. And that is respectable. Pacquiaos ******ed ass can't acknowledge that he lost

                Nah, I doubt this happens.

Line Lil Red up with Cotto in the Fall, I'm all for that.

I think Alvarez would do much better, but ultimately he's a boxer-puncher with slow feet, and instinct would draw him into another distance battle he can't win.

Canelo has the advantage of learning from Maidana's blueprint, knowing that he has to throw at a higher volume, use a greater variety of punches including jabs and body shots, and cut off the ring constantly instead of trying to box. He will no longer wait for opportunities, he will create his own. He's not going to hesitate as much because he now knows that he can take Mayweather's power.

I think it's obvious. His best bet if he really just wants the date though is to give in as the B side to Cotto as long as he takes the date with him. Then he can push Floyd off the date because Floyd has nobody to fight who can match that fight. Most hardcore boxing fans who aren't hard on Floyds **** know what fight to pick that night if Floyd tried to go up against that fight with somebody like Khan.
