Mayweather will Shut Out Canelo Again if this happens.

This is a good breakdown by EGO.

He's not. Floyd completely embarrassed him and no one has any interest in that. He's interested in other big fights and rebuilding his base. Which is why he wants te September dates back. They're big Mexican holidays and well he just happens to be Mexican.

Canelo is not trying to force anything. He intends to fight on the same MEXICAN holiday weekend that Floyd fights on. That's not against the law by the way. Mayweather won the fight with Canelo but it was not a shutout. Hell, one judge had it even. Some shutout. It amazes me how some over the top Mayweather fans call all his wins shutouts and clinics when they are not even close to being shutouts. Canelo had to come in 2 pounds under the standard 154 weight limit so he was weight drained. You don't need to worry about a rematch because Mayweather likes all the advantages going his way and would insist Canelo fight him at 152 or maybe even less. Canelo said he learned his lesson about being weight drained and will never again fight below 154. I would love to see a rematch at the full 154 and a non weight drained Canelo. He has improved a lot since his loss and Mayweather is older and slower. I think Canelo would knock him out, Kirkland style.

Maybe with Memo he can last an extra round or two but he'd have to hope for a KD or two within 6 which quite frankly is probably never going to happen. Canelo should pressure Cotto because without Canelo what's Cotto going to do? Fight GGG? Lol
Any class A fighter from 140 up would beat a one arm PAC most would have stopped him

canelo beat up 2 fighters that use their faces for defense (angulo, kirkland)

and don't act like the lara fight didn't happen. canelo had problems catching up too the faster fighter. so he hasn't improved that much.

I like canelo, but cotto and golovkin are the fights for him.

                canelo cant beat Floyd.

by the way, what was your scorecard for the mayweather vs canelo fight?

I don't think so. Canelo and Golden Boy are playing the long game. Yes in the short term it would be a good payday but Canelo has another 10-12 years to make money. Another loss would set him back. The first one can be chalked up to inexperience as long as he keeps winning. If Floyd is not bluffing and September is his last fight then Canelo can be fighting on Cinco de Mayo on PPV for the next decade. He would lose again and there are better fights for the fans out there for him with Cotto and GGG.

And if mayweather fights cotto or khan and canelo fights anyone but cotto in september, what happens? canelo doesnt get the date.

Canelo doesnt even have an opponent yet, much less a contract with mgm for september.

I could actually like canelo if he wasnt such a diva. I dont really have any young fighters I like and need to find some because everyone is retiring soon. I like his style in the ring but hes such a crybaby ***** outside the ring.

I don't want to see ANYBODY against Floyd. Nobody alive under 160 can challenge him.

Nobody can hit him clean. Nobody.
