    From Lomachenko's Facebook page:

    Thoughts?
I would like to believe this, but it is total bulls...t. Bob Arum refused to make Gamboa/Juanma when both were at their peak. Arum refused to make Mayweather/Cotto at 140. There is no way he is going to risk his future Golden Child, Lomachenko, getting KO'd by Walters.

Lomachenko might fight Nonito Donaire, Vic Darchyinian (both of whom lost to Walters) or Gamboa in October, but there is no way in hell he will be put in the ring with Walters.

I'll believe it when I see it. Walters has never come off as interested in fighting Lomachenko when asked.

His chin held up well against a full-blown welterweight in Salido. I'm not sure how heavy Walters gets after rehydrating, but he's going to need everything including the kitchen sink to put Loma away.

I like to think that boxing is moving back in this direction, where the best fight the best, even if they take some keep-busy fights periodically. I'm not even all that interested in the petite weight classes but THIS would be a fantastic matchup.

As much as I like Loma, he will get KOd by Walters. Don't do it Loma, don't do it.

We shall see - personally I think Loma's movement will negate Walters' power. Donaire fought ******ly trying to brawl with him, while Loma will constantly move and box. His footwork will be a major player in this fight and I think it will frustrate the hell out of Walters who will struggle to land clean.

Lomachenko will destroy Walters, he has all the tools, but Walters packs a mighty punch.

                      100% would watch this fight.

I think Loma will take it, but Walters has a very good punchers chance...
