That's a bad ass fight. I think Loma is extremely talented but Walters just has that one hitta quitta power and he is a pretty technical boxer. He was able to pretty much dominate Donaire with ease. I realize he was a little bigger but Donaire was still faster and Walters was slipping most of his punches and countering him with killer power shots.

Tough call for me......my brain says Loma, the heart says Walters. I can see Loma getting the best of him and then eating a bomb that has him out on his feet. Once Walters has you stunned, it's a wrap.

I think it was about 2 years ago when there was a thread about who was going to have a breakout year in 2014....I picked Walters and he broke into the spotlight. Should he beat Loma......yeah, he's going to the top 10 P4P for sure.

Easy option? He has like 5 fights lmao. Everybody will say it was too soon if he loses, like they said with Salido.

I hope so. Loma is the truth. But Walter is a young hungry lion that Lomachenko can't overlook.
You're saying that as if he's just a regular 5-fight novice. He's already a world champ with 2 defenses of his belt. He can't abandon his career plan now of taking the biggest challenges ASAP, and he has no need to. His handlers probably want him to slow the pace, but he is in the game to do everything quickly. 'Not wasting time' is not even my opinion, that's the words of Loma himself.

Not everyone says it was too soon with Salido - some use that result as a basis for saying Loma is all hype etc.

Too much skill, too much ability, too much ring IQ too much GREATNESS. Loma will win this match handily. The only things that can trouble him are Walters power and size but for a boxer the caliber of Loma, he can handle that no problem. This bout makes my **** hard.

Best match up at 126, make it happen, I like both fighters but I lean towards Loma by decision in this one.
