I can see Loma outpointing Walters, he's the more technically sound boxer. Gary Russell is far more talented than Walters and he had absolutely nothing for Loma. And for the record, I think Donaire would have beaten Walters had he paced himself instead of foolishly going for the KO.

Walters jab, power, and size make him a way tougher opponent. Yes, Gary Russell is talented but he relies on his speed to overwhelm opponents. If Walters can keep Loma at the end of his jab he'll give him a ton of problems/

Fight is a toss up imo...Probably give a slight edge to the bigger guy(Walters) in this one

LOL....Overhyped maybe, but Flawed? Hardly. Only flaw I can see is possible injury prone hands.

Loma has the footwork and head movement to nullify Walters' jab. A past peak Donaire was able to hurt Walters and he isn't even a natural featherweight.

Yes it is possible he nullifys the jab. It's also possible Walters will just be too big for Loma to be able to do anything about it. That's why I said fight is a toss up.

And I never put too much stock into fighters being stunned. It can happen to anyone under the right circumstances. Getting stunned by Donaire isn't a big deal.

If the fight happens in October then I can see it going either way, but the more wins Loma gets under his belt the less chances Walters has of winning the fight.
