Remember for instance one of others, like Dawson, HOP QUIT and said his shoulder was out, he could have had someone jerk it back in shape and KEEP FIGHTING, but NO, he QUIT, crying like a baby, at least Pac didn't cry like JR did twice, I can't see , I can't see, He bit me He bit me and HOP holding his shoulder, because he was fixing to get creamed !

How ironic is this. Team DSG calling out hype jobs. I've seen it all now.

Of all people to say such a thing. Especially since Hopkins is the one who pulled that stunt in the Dawson match where he faked an injury in order to get out of a fight he was on his way to losing.

I guess Hopkins is experiencing memory loss due to his old age, because what he pulled was much worse. From what I recall he really screwed the fans because his stinker of a fight with Dawson was on pay-per-view. The fans paid up and he pussied out due to a fake injury. At least Manny had a real substantiated injury and had serious surgery after the fight. Bernard, barely got tossed on his side and he cried and cried until they called off the bout due to injury. He was losing the fight up until that point and he thought he could get a DQ for Dawson or the very least a no-contest. Anything to get him out of the fight everyone thought he was losing, even himself.

And he has the nerve to say such things about Pacquiao. At least Manny did not quit during the fight and claim injury in order to get Floyd dq'd or get a no-contest. The nerve of Hopkins, who is probably the biggest baby in boxing. If everyone will recall the **** he pulled in the Jones rematch, even when it was not necessary bcuz at that point in Jones career he was no real threat. But what did he do, cried foul and cried injury over and over trying to get Jones dq'd or have points deducted. How many other times has Hopkins pulled some sort of injury bull**** during a fight? Too many times to count.

Its just unbelievable the double standard this guy has. Its unbelievable the selective memory he has and it is truly downright hypocritical for him to be saying such things about Manny Pacquiao.

"we got to now clean up their **** by putting on the best shows, the best events and not let any of this stuff happen on our watch."

LOL, wish I could green K B-Hop....the man is only stating his personal opinion, which everyone is entitled to....for all the hype and waiting, the fight ****** donkey balls! All the fanboys (of BOTH opponents) should just accept that it did not live up to expectations and move on....

Nobody can escape father time. Smaller and stranger injuries can happen and can greatly affect an athlete as they age. Plus that happened in the ring, not before the fight.

Besides, they made the rematch, Bernard lost. That was the end of that.

Everything Bernard said in this is correct. I think Pacquiao made multiple bad judgement calls.

I partly wonder if he only did it to get under Floyd's skin because he genuinely doesn't like him. But it seems the hit to his own reputation is out of balance for that to be the case.
I think top rank started this to taint Floyd's win and put an asterisk next to it. No one can say shyt about Hopkins because we saw the injury as it occurred and he said he could not continue, but we can go back about 15 years give or take and study his first fight against Antwan Echols where he clearly had a shoulder injury and continued to fight and win through it - very tired of the excuses and Pac fans that will not give Floyd his just do - very nasty group of fans, cant call them fight fans because they only root for Pac

B-Hop was well within his right to say he was too old, instead he made it clear after the fight when asked if this was because of his age, he clearly turned that down and said no Kovalev just beat me because he was better. Pure class from Hopkins. Meanwhile Pacquiao had a bad attitude saying he won, Floyd did nothing, and then saying he lost because of a shoulder injury, but that he should have won anyway .
