I agree with the logic but Pac ain't the same old Manny anymore. And maybe Lucas will be catching him at the right time. Could end up beating the crap outta Manny in a war.

Pac doesn't need a fight like that. A hungry lion like Matthysse just might devour him. Manny's body is slowly breaking down. Once his body is healed he should take at least a tuneup then perhaps a rematch with Mayweather then call it a career.

I don't see Matthysse as a Rios/Algieri fight. Pacquiao should win, but he has a legit chance of getting ktfo'd.

i do honestly. I mean dont get me wrong its got chance to be a fun fight to watch but i dont see matyssee as everyone else does either. i mean really he got beat by garcia who has not won without controversy since he went life and death with molina and he beat provo. I just dont see how you could put matysee automatically above algeiri and rios and not put it on that level of fights. im honestly not trolling either its how i feel i just think maidana, canelo which i understand is not likely, crawford, thurman, all the other options are better then matyssee. But i get it on paper it looks like a fan friendly fight but honestly i think pac wins pretty dam easy. Maybe its just me but crawford, maidana, khan are all better fights

If he decides to move down to 140, I like the fight. I'd prefer the likes of Brook or Khan at 147 but Matthysse is a solid opponent, when coming off a loss.

I think Matthysse beats Algieri all over the ring, and a Rios fight looks like a Provodnikov fight. But, to be fair, I think Matthysse wrecks Crawford too so we just see him in a different light.

Unless Pac's shoulder doesn't heal well I would expect Manny to put a pretty solid hurtin' on him in the late rounds. Would be a great fight to see how Manny's shoulder will hold up (might be a make or break fight for retirement).
