I like this fight, but it just shows how limited the options are from the newly formed relationship with Top Rank/Golden Boy stables. Top Rank and GB really have nothing to offer Pac anything but a Mathysse fight at this point.

Well, Pac isn't remotely a welterweight. More of a LW coming up to 140. He's teeny tiny.

Not really. Kell Brook, Lucas Matthysse, Terence Crawford, Ruslan Provodnikov, Juan Manuel Marquez is with them too although he is probably a lost cause.

Pac came in at 152 vs Floyd....l would much rather see him vs Brook, Kahn or Maidana....all guys he can beat, but pose a credible risk.

You know Pac rehydrates to 151 and Matthysse hydrates around 157? Lucas was 151 vs Ruslan but 157 vs Molina and Ortiz. Broner rehydrates to 158 as well as Crawford. Most 140 lbers are big boys.

You know Matthysse has KO'd 82% of his opponents? For comparison, Maidana 77%, Brook 67% and Khan 57%.

Brook is probably the biggest challenge, Matthysse & Maidana roughly on par and Khan the lightest challenge owing to his punch resistance.

I actually think Matthysse has the edge as a tougher opponent than Maidana for Pacquiao because his handspeed and footspeed is much better.
