Everyone complains about hugging and holding in the ring...

The second one with Mosley isn't holding, but is an example of something you can do to combat holding, put your forearm in guys face they wouldn't be able to clinch all the way. See how Mosley is trying to wrap up arms spread, but can't because his face is getting crunched.Comment

Floyd fouls in his fights intentionally. Be it hugging, elbow to the face, forearm, head lock, ......The second one with Mosley isn't holding, but is an example of something you can do to combat holding, put your forearm in guys face they wouldn't be able to clinch all the way. What Floyd did to Mosley, if it was Maidana, he would have been either given hard warnings or points deducted right away. Happened in their 2nd fight. Floyd elbowed. No points deducted. Maidana elbows, and gets a point deducted right away. No hard warnings ...... but nice try with that explanation.Comment

Not the first Maidana fight it wouldn't~ Maidana was dirty as ****, and the second he got a point deducted for pushing Floyd down but it was pretty blatant. You throw someone down you usually get points taken straight away. Might have been a bit soft but is certainly wasn't an elbow that got the point taken away.Floyd fouls in his fights intentionally. Not the same thing at all, Floyd is clever with his moves and not blatant. This thread is specifically about clinching and guys actually doing something about it without just looking like a lost puppy to the ref. That second pic is a perfect example of an expert type move in that regard even if also a foul.
Let me get out my violin that only plays sad songs for you though because some sad violin music would go perfect with your posts about Mayweather.Comment

I't dumb hear "fans" support excessive clinching. It has absolutely no benefit to the viewer.
At the end of the day, we always get a hugfest, barely any punches get thrown or slipped. We get bad fights.
It doesn't make sense, excessive clinching does nothing for the fans, it ruins fights.
You pay money to see some of these fights live or at home, and when a fighter decides to clinch the whole fight, you don't get your money's worth. Just a boring fight.
These clinchers are taking your money, laughing at your A&& all the way to the bank.
And we have guys here STILL riding their d!K eventhough we didn't see anything do to a hugfest? lmao
Pathetic.Comment

Started out as an elbow ..... come to think of it, you are right. Wow! Like you said, lame! So its even worse.
Sorry but you Floyd fans call it dirty when someone does something to Floyd but have the nerve to protect Floyd when he does something dirty himself.
As for your comment about crying like a lost puppy to the ref, that was Floyd but should have been Maidana with all those blantant fouls from Floyd! How can one guy get points deducted and the other does not. Well, Floyd is the Vegas home town guy ..... they protect him in Vegas.
There were instances where Floyd fouled and Bayless talked to Maidana. Just insane!
Bayless admitted that he was ready to pull the trigger on Maidana even before the fight started.Comment
