Yeah, Ward won the super six which gave him a solid resume. Years ago. He hasn't done a whole lot since.

The thing is, Golvokin has been TRYING to get the best in his own division to fight him. Unfortuantely GGG hasn't had the luxury of a super six.

The timing has been bad for GGG. First it was Pirog who was scheduled to fight GGG on GGG's HBO debut but Pirog pulled out and got injured. N'dam didn't show up to the purse bid two different times when he was ordered to fight Golovkin. Sergio Martinez already "paid his due" and was only looking for money fights. Chavez jr pulled out of a fight last year. Cotto not interested after beating Sergio. Canelo "not yet". Danny Jacobs "not yet". Peter Quillin Al Haymon/PBC. Golovkin would LOVE to have a super six type tournament where he can fight the best.

Also that Ward is a straight shooter and genuinely wants to fight the best, his resume shows he is the best of his era and the Golovkin fight will NEVER happen, Golovkin will be to Ward what Mayweather will do to Golovkin.
I have no idea wtf you're trying to say here.

As for Cotto, Golovkin is mandatory to his belt. They are currently in the same weight class (Cotto is fighting Geale next defending his middleweight crown). Not sure why GGG wouldn't want to go after Cotto, being that he's lineal MW champ. That's usually the goal of every weight classs - to become THE man in the division. If Cotto doesn't want to fight him, hopefully he'll be stripped and GGG can fight for the vacant title.
sounds like a bore fest people seem to protect ggg instead of wanting to see the monster challenged

When they were negotiating, Dawson then asked for a CW, Ward said no 168, and then Dawson signed the contract anyways at 168 (which obviously was a huge mistake on his part). Point being, Dawson did try to actually get it a CW and Ward wasn't having it.
Yeah I remember that. Fighting Ward at 168 was the only way Dawson was going to get that fight.

Skip to 2:20 for Andre's remark on holding Dawson to 168.

Okay but it's still Dawson's fault for offering a weight he couldn't make healthy. He put himself in that situation.

It's pretty easy to figure out!!!! Mayweather is the biggest payday and has a 154 belt so make 54 and go for the money. It's really easy to understand.

You're right. It also means all Ward did was beat a drained as **** Dawson. Ward hasn't done **** in 5 years, literally. Ward needs GGG more than GGG needs Ward, facts.

That wasn't the topic. GGG needs an opponent who can challenge him if he cares about how he will be viewed historically.

                      Ward has already done that.
