It's obviously Ward's fault that he'll never going to get full-credit for beating Dawson. Typical Ward always looking for an easier fight.

Like pushing to have all his S6 fights in Cali, talking about how Chavez is a tough fight and 5 months later criticizing Froch for trying to fight Chavez instead of a rematch and then recently turns down a chance for an even bigger money rematch with Froch. Or saying Bute needed to prove himself before Andre would fight him, yet he's happy to sign a fight with a clearly shot Kelly Pavlik or say Golovkin is unproven & over-hyped but he's happy to fight him. Or sending an email to be read on HBO calling out Golovkin while he's in legal dispute with his promoter and then immediately after the legal dispute is resolved he insists he's not ready for a big fight and needs tune-ups.

People are taking GGG's comments way out of proportion. He just said it would be a dream fight, just like it would be for any fighter. Hell, even Tyson said he would have loved to fight Mayweather if he was the same weight. That just shows how much middleweights and heavyweights respect his skill. That's why GGG said it would be a dream fight, not a realistic fight.

Mayweather should be focusing on welterweights like Pac, Khan, Thurman, Brook, etc. And GGG should be focusing on middleweights like Ward, Canelo, Cotto, Lara, etc. But honestly, I just can't see GGG beating Ward, who is around a similar size and too technically skilled for him (though obviously not as skilled as Mayweather).

No one here is willing to criticize their favorite boxers. It's like a bunch ofchildren talking about comic book heroes. So predictable that a thread talking about Golovkin's poor opposition would be full of excuses and topic derailers like Ward/Dawson. Have some integrity guys. If you like Golovkin, demand he take some real fights and stop pretending no one wants to fight him.

GGG bashers are NEVER able to provide a single, credible name that GGG has ducked. Not 1. They say ****** **** like "fight ward doe" even though he's been sidelined for 18 months and now needs 3 tuneups. Never once have I heard of a credible opponent that K2 has avoided, yet these idiots have no problem with Quillin, Cotto, Jacobs, etc who all have 50 excuses each why they wont fight GGG.......

Sanchez just stated his opinion that Ward wouldn't last 12 rounds with GGG and dared him to send them an offer to if he wanted the fight. How can an opinion and a challenge be a lie?

GGG sees a potential goodboy in Mayweather. U scared bruh.

This is like Marquez moving up to fight Mayweather. Same weight division jump, same age difference.

Seriously? If you need to ask why then stop watching boxing.

                  James Degale? Lol..
Andre ward who hasn't fought in ages.
Lara who I like but doesn't offer anything as far as fanfare if he beats him.
Then there's Floyd who just made $275 million, is undefeated, p4p #1 in the world and a ATG.. And he's smaller which gives GGG an advantage. Come on man...

Any suggestions on the "real fights" GGG fans should be urging him to take?

And btw, he can't "take" a fight unless it's there for him as an option. Which rules out Ward, Froch, Dirrell, DeGale, Cotto, Canelo, Quillin, Jacobs, etc.

Andy Lee might possibly be up for it, but none of the guys I mentioned above are interested in fighting GGG at this point.

Exactly, nobody wants to fight him.
If Lara want it then they should fight him. Or it will be Tuerano Johnson I guess lol.
