What's the deal?? The most feared man in boxing rejecting fights against world class elite challengers
Those guys are regular good boys, GGG wants to fight The Best Evah.

That's assuming a lot, man. Ward's next fight is at 172 pounds. Ward has shown to be pretty demanding in his negotiations - usually it's his way or the highway (see Dawson asking for a catchweight, Ward refusing. See Ward demanding all his fights in Cali, Ward demanding huge paydays for tune ups, etc).

Dawson asked for a catchweight after signing the contract. That was on him.

He told him to stop lying. Nice semantics trick.

            What did they lie about?

I can provide a half-dozen Andre Ward comments where he contradicts himself.

Ward who fought Froch, Kesller is not going to know avoid a smaller more hyped up guy in Golovkin, logic will tell you that. Also that Ward is a straight shooter and genuinely wants to fight the best, his resume shows he is the best of his era and the Golovkin fight will NEVER happen, Golovkin will be to Ward what Mayweather will do to Golovkin.

No, Dawson asked for a catchweight after calling out Ward at 168. He said on HBO he'd fight Ward at 168. When they were negotiating, Dawson then asked for a CW, Ward said no 168, and then Dawson signed the contract anyways at 168 (which obviously was a huge mistake on his part). Point being, Dawson did try to actually get it a CW and Ward wasn't having it.

He just avoided a high paying rematch with Froch in Nottingham to fight at 172lbs against journeyman SMW Paul Smith.

There are guys who were shot by their late 20s who have resumes that make Golovkin's look like Ali Raymi's. If this is your resume at 32, you stand zero chance of being a top 100 ATG.
