You guys have all missed the aim of this thread. Im trying to say IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN, Mayweather and Cotto will not fight this guy because they know he's too big they cant beat him. Instead of Geale and Macklin why not do a Carl Froch and challenge yourself against the best around your weightclass which is easily Ward, followed by Degale, Lara, even Kovalev would be closer to him in fight night weight than Mayweather

Froch fought the best in his weight class, which is the same thing Golovkin has been trying to do. You didn't see Froch stepping up to 175, or even being willing to like Golovkin says he is at 168.

These three have recently expressed a desire to fight Golovkin, they are all around the same size as Golovkin and will weigh similar to him on fight night, he would outweigh both mayweather and cotto by atleast 20lbs on fight night. But why fight this guy he's fighting next who hardly anybody has heard of, Atleast Ward fight would gain all the boxing hardcores attention as two undefeated pound for pound fighters in their primes going at it. Lara is a tough dangerous fight but if Golovkin were able to blast him out his stock would rise unbelievably, these are the guys he should be fighting while waiting for Cotto to eventually grow the balls to face him
