Instead of Geale and Macklin why do a Carl Froch and challenge yourself against the best around your weightclass which is easily Ward, followed by Degale, Lara, even Kovalev would be closer to him in fight night weight than Mayweather
Ok, everyone on NSB realizes Mayweather vs GGG will never happen. What's your point? It doesn't hurt for GGG saying he would want to fight Mayweather.

As for Cotto, Golovkin is mandatory to his belt. They are currently in the same weight class (Cotto is fighting Geale next defending his middleweight crown). Not sure why GGG wouldn't want to go after Cotto, being that he's lineal MW champ. That's usually the goal of every weight classs - to become THE man in the division. If Cotto doesn't want to fight him, hopefully he'll be stripped and GGG can fight for the vacant title.

it's weird how people get offended isn't it? lol

It's a huge payday, the biggest fight possible for any fighter in the sport is against Mayweather. Doesn't get any bigger than that. Nothing wrong with dreaming (Golovkin even said that's his "dream fight").

Money. Although I would like to see him fight Canelo. That's the fight he should be pushing.

If Alvarez beats Cotto, I fully expect that fight to happen.

I have no problem with him saying it, but he just needs to realize every fighter fights for $$$$. Every fighter thinks that way and GGG just isn't as high as others on the list so he'll be waiting a while.

What's the deal?? The most feared man in boxing rejecting fights against world class elite challengers
You don't know to take the spot of the PPV cash king why would you fight Lara for 50 thousand when you can make an easy 20 million fighting a guy who can't break an egg

Once again... neither Golovkin nor his team called out Mayweather. They answered a question. GGG never came out and said "I challenge Mayweather to a fight." and that is what it means to 'call out' a fighter. But it seems that very few people around here know the meaning of the term 'call out' because even when GGG says after his fights that he wants to fight Cotto next, that is not calling out a fighter. Calling out a fighter is making a direct challenge, usually accompanied by an insult saying that the guy is afraid of fighting him. Golovkin has never called out another fighter in his life.
