This just looks like a posturing technique to try to make GGG include him on the list of potential people he would come to 154 for, thus giving him an edge in the weight department. I think he might be banking on enticing GGG to come down since there isn't much left at 160 since Cotto is not really a 160 guy.

Canelo is a funny guy. He is the only fighter at this weight lol....

People may have forgotten but he did miss weight against Angulo. Both teams reached an agreement before the official weigh-in. He realized after this fight he was having a hard time making 154 and his last three fights have been at 155.

He will do anything not to hit 160lbs. The fear is real.

Maybe cotto, who is officially a title holder at 160 Lbs, can set an example fighting GGG, who is by the way the mandatory for cotto's title. cotto is the one that should comply with his obligation as champion. Alvarez is not legally bond to face GGG.

Seems like they are frightened of GGG then.

              Seriously...

Canelo is trying to kid his peasant flock that his struggles with Floyd had to do with "weight." No you bum bastard, it has to do with SKILLS.

              Your SKILLBAG doesn't weigh enough.

Now keep knocking out chinless bums.
              yep, cotto is next...

Why is this a big deal? There are no belts at stake.

Also, Cotto defending the MW title at 157 is bad too. Your title should be defended at the weight it's intended. That goes for the Floyd - Canelo fight at 152 also.

There should at least be a rule against catchweights when a title is on the line. It makes a mockery of history of the belt.

Not sure whose idea it was, but it was at a catchweight. Augueste if I am not mistaken.

I once thought that. Both aren't that good and both are young, but Canelo fought the harder competition.

Lara and trout are better than any of broner's wins imo. Mayweather is obviously better than maidana.

That being said, both have had low level opposition a bit too much for me. Then again mayweather started with big names like corraless at this age so I will wait
