Well I'd like to think that I'm a lot more than a casual fan, and it sure as hell stung for me. Look, I'm not nuts, I knew that Pac beating Floyd was going to be an uphill battle. No question it was a nightmare matchup stylistically. That said I still rooted like a mother**ker for Pac and was disappointed when he lost.

I definitely feel like he's still one of the best P4P boxers out there right now -- he's certainly not shot. Definitely not the same Manny when he was at his peak (not even close), but he's still among the best out there. That said I just really don't see what else is out there that could enhance his legacy at all. If he wins? It's just another name on the resume. That's it. But if he loses, it could damage or taint his accomplishments in some people's eyes. When people see you struggling at the end of your career (if things were to unfold that way), it can kind of leave that imprint in a lot of people's minds.

Mayweather dominated? like i said, there'a a reason why Floyd landed career low on Pac
pbf fans be like "#48 is $h#it, dominated by tbe, told you he was overrated"

I advise it, too. Time to make room for the new generation.

i feel you mike. i have my expectation so low on that fight doe. i am a pac fan but i know damn well pbf's style is all wrong for him. I even won a friendly wager of 50$ on that fight. wasn't disappointed on the loss itself but on how he was beaten.

Expectations from the fans: Mayweather II, Brook, Khan, Marquez V

Reality from Arum: Vargas or Crawford

as much as i would also like for him to retire, it appears it won't be happening soon

just like Floyd said "Money is everything", as long as there's willing to pay to watch he will still fight. i mean just look all the pacturds following him wherever he goes, they all look to him with mouths open waiting to be fed on

                ROFL,
His concern is for his health and he doesn't want him to fight again UNLESS it's Mayweather.

That's like saying, don't fight anyone except the pillow puncher Floyd if your still going to fight because anyone else will wreck your health while Floyd will just dance around and give you an easy paycheck.
