He definitely outboxed him, but I understand people don't like his style. Him Rigo and Floyd might not be fun, but they are better technicians. I thought Lara landed clearer punches while Canelo followed him around like an amteur not knowing how to attack him. But the judges preferred sloppy aggression vs low volume accuracy which is fine by me. When you work the way Lara does, you can't really be surprised by that outcome.

Ratings... Who is better at 154 besides Floyd? No one. Canelo isn't a better fighter than Lara... He's good no doubt, but he got beat in their first match and now Canelo and his handlers don't want to risk another loss.. it's too high risk of a fight for them which tells us everything we need to know...Canelo can't deal with fighters that have reach and speed... Floyd should fight Lara but he won't... He'll fight Thurman or Khan and win convincingly...

The big money is hyping up Mexican guys... Even being black and speaking Spanish(if you're cuban) isn't enough in this PC world of ours...

If Lara was Mayweather he would have got the decision. He also would have been praised for his masterful boxing performance. Does anyone disagree?

Lara must realize this, he must have realized it would have been difficult to win a decision. Yet he failed to let his hands go even when the opportunity was there. I dont see how he could ever get a rematch.

You said it, this is truth. How's about the one judge having his scorecard tabbed pretty much before fight's end. But ODLH won't risk that again, he knows his cash cow is overrated so keep feeding him tailor made fighters. Reminds me of that Scrappy Doo fighter that seems to keep his number 2 ranking even though he hadn't fought a solid guy since being iced.
