Why do people keep bringing up Canelo vs GGG or Lemieux? Canelo said he wants to stay at 154lb and move to 160lb when his body tells him to. He also said he learned his lesson from the Mayweather fight and will not give a weight advantage anymore.

Lara lost and if he won it woudn't of been an ass whooping. Just call it like it is, he wins because of defense and smarts not whooping people's ass.

Lara is the best fighter at 154(besides Floyd) PERIOD... Who the hell else is Canelo going to fight if not Cotto or GGG? Canelo needs catered opponents i guess

Lara's not the best at 154. The fight was close but no robbery vs Canelo. On the other hand Lara couldn't beat Vanes in another ugly close fight and Carlos Molina got robbed against Lara. He clearly won that fight.

What big fights has Lara won to be called the best at 54? He was life and death with Angulo a b level fighter and was on ***** Street from the knockdown when he was finally able to stop him.

I will agree he got robbed vs Williams but that's it.

Not unless he leaves Oscar because Oscar doesn't want Canelo anywhere near GGG for another couple of years or so. I wonder what would happen if GGG did step aside and allow Cotto to defend against Canelo, Canelo wins and vacates the title instead of fighting GGG. What would his Mexican fans think of him? Cotto would get a pass because no one expects him to ever fight Golovkin, but if Canelo did the same thing? It would be a disaster!

canelo has already said he wants to continue fighting at 154, he is not after the MW title, he is after cotto, if cotto wants to put his title on the line thats on him, now if canelo wants to keep that belt he has to fight ggg...
but dont be surprised if WBC puts his 154 title on the line for that fight since floyd said he will vacate and canelo is the #1 ranked at 154 by wbc, too much of a big fight to not have that title on the line too...
